Books & Brews Set for October Opening
October 3, 2017
Books & Brews Taproom is moving forward on plans to open at Carmel City Center in late October. The opening date is not definite yet, but things are moving ahead quickly.
They plan to initially feature Mallow Run wines (from nearby Bargersville), as well as the locally-brewed beers already on tap. Mug Club cards will also be available for membership, offering rewards like a free ceramic mug, discounts on beer and merchandise, and inclusion in the book exchange program.
Built on the idea of a local gathering spot, it is a family-friendly place to work on your laptop, play, read, or just grab a beer from the bar. The new taproom offers a full menu, including beer cheese dip made fresh daily from the beer of the day, a generous selection of sandwiches and grilled flatbreads, along with a full array of artisan grilled cheese sandwiches and several house and rotating guest craft beers on tap. They also offer trivia nights, bingo, acoustic open mic nights and live music.
Books & Brews will provide a local family-friendly haven in the heart of Carmel, with kids-eat-free days multiple times per week. Books & Brews plans to be open Monday through Thursday from 11:00 am to 10:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. and Sunday 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
