Carmel International Arts Festival

The 15th Annual Carmel International Arts Festival will take place on Saturday, September 22 and Sunday, September 23. Admission & Parking for the Festival are FREE.
This Arts Festival brings together 130 juried artists competing for top honors in their media field. Creative designs from new and renowned artists will provide festival goers with the opportunity to view professional displays and purchase unique works of art.
Art pieces have been judged on originality, style, and professionalism in varied forms of art media including: Fiber/Mixed 2D, Photography, Oil/Acrylic, Watercolor, Ceramics, 2D Traditional, Printmaking, Jewelry, Wood and 3D Traditional.
In addition to artist’s booths, the Carmel International Arts Festival features two stages providing live entertainment with an international flair, “Young-at-Art” interactive displays, cultural exhibit’s from Carmel’s sister cities in China & Japan, a’ la carte sidewalk dining and a scholarship contest for emerging, talented artists from Carmel High School and University High School.
Times: Saturday, September 22, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. & Sunday, September 23, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Parking: Free parking is available at the Indiana Design Center located on Range Line Road (south of Main Street) and at Carmel High School on Main Street (east of the Festival). A continuous, complimentary shuttle service will run from Carmel High School to the East Festival entrance on Saturday-Sept 22nd (10am-6pm) & Sunday-Sept 23rd (10am-5pm). Handicap parking is available at the PNC Bank Parking lot on Main Street (enter from North side of building).
Peddle to the Arts: During the Festival, Free bicycle parking will be provided in a secured area next to the Monon Trail just south of Main Street in downtown Carmel. “Pedal to the Arts” is made possible with the help of volunteers from the Interact Club at Carmel High School and the Carmel Rotary Club.
Food Vendors: In addition to the variety of downtown Carmel Restaurants, there will be outdoor food vendors at the Festival presenting an eclectic assortment of delicious eating choices. The food tents will include Taste of Egypt, Da Blue Lagoon Caribbean Cuisine, Oriental Grill, Cooking Greek, 3 & 1 Restaurant (featuring all natural Mexican tamales), Italian Ice, Urick Concessions and Aunt Jean’s Fun Foods. In addition to food tents, adult beverages (for ages 21 and older) will be available thru local Sun King Brewery and Ertel’s Winery. The main outdoor food area will be located on Range Line Road (north & south of Main Street).
