Fall Fashion Trends
August 14, 2017
The shops of Carmel City Center are getting in their new fall lines, and there are many new pieces available for you to be on trend for all of your late summer and autumn events.
One big trend that is still going strong is camouflage. Many designers and retailers are still showing this military-inspired print in the traditional tees and pants, but have also pumped up the style by offering jumpsuits and even fur jackets in the print. The classic green camo has become a neutral, able to be paired with just about anything to give an outfit a fresh perspective. These jackets and pants, by beauty + grace and 14 Districts Weekend are the perfect classics to add to your wardrobe.
Also trending are more fall fabrics and colors. In keeping with the military theme, lots of olive greens and khaki browns are big, as are deeper navy blues and rich purples. Rompers are still enjoying popularity as an easy one-and-done outfit – just add your choice of shoes and accessories and you are set. This long-sleeved romper from Endeavor Boutique shows fall color but is still perfect for warm weather.
As the weather cools, lightweight cashmeres are the perfect transition item for fall. Throw a fun patterned sweater over your shoulders or in your bag for those evening festivals when you need a little something after the sun has gone down. Check out the fun, retro-style cashmere pullovers and cardigans at beauty + grace.
