Kits & Kaboodle Classic Toys Grand Opening

Carmel City Center is excited to announce the Grand Re-Opening celebration for Kits & Kaboodle Classic Toys on Friday, July 17, 2020 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at 723 Hanover Place.
Guests are encouraged to attend the celebration beginning at 10 a.m. with a flash dance performance of “Mary Poppins Medley” by the Brownsburg Ballroom Swing Kids followed by the official ribbon cutting with Mary Poppins. The flash dance will begin on the sidewalk south of InCycle and The Yoga Studio and will travel north along Hanover Place to the Kits & Kaboodle shop. A photo opportunity with Mary Poppins will be available from 10 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. in the shop and the first 100 shoppers will receive a Poppins Sugar Cookie. Safety is a top priority at Kits & Kaboodle Classic Toys; therefore, all adults will be required to wear a mask while inside the shop and children are encouraged to wear a mask as well.
Kits & Kaboodle Classic Toys relocated to Carmel City Center in the interior plaza at 723 Hanover Place. Celebrating their 16th year of business, Kits & Kaboodle is a family-owned toy store geared toward developmentally appropriate toys and books for infants to children 12 years old. With a knowledgeable staff to help pick out the best toys, Kits & Kaboodle offers a wide range of German-made toys and stuffed animals by Steiff, HABA, Bruder and LEGO along with Fat Brain Toys, Ravensburger puzzles, Brio trains, Corolle dolls and more. The new Carmel City Center shop features a Mary Poppins theme that will eventually include a Bert’s Book Nook and an interactive Poppins Play Area.
“We are very excited to be re-opening our shop at Carmel City Center and welcome new and old customers to the space,” said owner, Teneen Dobbs. Hours of operation will be Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Carmel City Center is located at the southwest corner of City Center Drive and Range Line Road. Surface parking is available on plaza level (accessible from City Center Drive), in the underground garage (accessible from Range Line Road as well as City Center Drive) and in the Veterans Way garage.
