Manelé Café Now Open at Carmel City Center

Manelé Café, a Hawaiian inspired café, is now open at 703 Veterans Way on the interior plaza of Carmel City Center, near Hotel Carmichael.
A convenient counter service restaurant, Manelé Café features a 75-seat dining room along with patio space for guests to enjoy their fresh, island inspired fare. Manelé Café offers a health-forward menu of salads and rice bowls, sandwiches, and wraps. Breakfast is served all day with options such as Acai bowls which include their house-made granola, French Toast, Avocado Toast, breakfast bowls and skillets as well as a build your own Acai Bowl option. A wide variety of iced and hot coffee drinks and frozen drinks are on the menu including a build your own smoothie option. Manelé Café offers Hawaiian draft and bottled beer and Kona Brewing Co. spiked island seltzers along with mimosas and wine all day. Guests are welcome to enjoy a grab-and-go selection of snacks, fresh pastries, and fresh fruit all day as well.
Owner, Craig Barnum, joined the Carmel City Center community with the opening of Matt the Miller’s Tavern in 2012. “We are thrilled to expand our brand and bring a taste of the Hawaiian Islands through Manelé Café to Carmel City Center,” said Barnum. “Carmel has been a great home to Matt the Miller’s Tavern and we look forward to serving the community with Manelé Café for many years to come as well.”

Manelé Café is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. View the full menu of options here.
Parking is available on the plaza or just steps away in the Veterans Way Garage. In addition, a 15-minute Grab & Go parking space is also available on the plaza near Manelé Café to make ordering to-go a quick and easy process.
