I LOVE A PIANO is a dazzling look at America through the hopeful and romantic eyes of Irving Berlin. Join six ATI favorites as they paint uniquely American portraits from young lovers swinging at a 1940’s Dance Hall to the swells of Fifth Avenue. From sending soldiers off to war to the seemingly innocent balcony of a 1950’s movie house, this all-star cast sings and swings to such Berlin classics as “Blue Skies”, “Puttin’ on the Ritz”, “Cheek to Cheek”, “Anything You Can Do”, “God Bless America”, and of course “I Love A Piano”.  Happy and tappy, proud and polished, I LOVE A PIANO pays tribute to the man, who according to Jerome Kern, “…has no place in American music. He is American music.”
